Be Thou At Peace
Posted by Joe Da Silva on September 4, 2003:
On behalf of the Class of 2002, I want to extend my deepest symapthies to you at this great tragedy. The bond that grows among classmates at West Point is one that is never broken not even in death. Although my heart breaks at every tragedy like this I know that Rick will always remain part of the long grey line and the memories we have of him will never leave us. I want you all to know that if there is anything that our class can do in this time to help you in any manner please do not hesitate to ask. With many classmates deployed across the world I know this news will affect many people on almost every continent. Please know that the memory of your son will be treasured by all of us as our classmate and our friend. You will all remain in our prayers and I will ask the good lord to watch over all of you and Rick. Please accept my deepest sympathies and may the good lord bless you in this time of sorrow.
Respectfully, 2LT Joseph Da Silva President, Class of 2002 "Pride in all we do"
