| I got an email from my husband Jim Modlin on Monday. His platoon was escorting Todd's convoy. We had a couple classes with him at West Point and Jim knew him well. Anyway, Jim said he was right there when it happened and that his platoon ended up killing the Iraqis who fired the RPG at Todd's vehicle. He said Todd died instantly and was not in pain, and wanted his friends and loved ones to know that. |
