How do you ever say goodbye to someone who touched your life in so many ways? I never had the privelege of meeting Todd in person, but through Matthew I felt like he was my best friend too. The endless stories of their high school days together, and then apart as they pursued military careers, it became clear to me that they had the same innate need to defend our country and fight for our freedom and the freedom of others. We may never understand why this happened, but we do know that he died defending our freedom and our rights, something he believed so strongly in. Todds memory will forever live in the minds of those who loved him, and we will never forget. May God be with all who ache for this tragedy. Help us to find peace so that we may heal. We miss you Todd. |
