Todd Jason Bryant

West Point, 2002

Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Don and Elaine La Marr on November 5, 2003:

Todd Bryant had already accomplished so much in his young life, and had both the potential and desire to do so much more. All of us, as well as our country, have suffered a great loss. Todd was well aware of the dangers facing him, but was trained to do what needed to be done. He was an outstanding soldier. Todd was also an engaging conversationalist and endeared himself to so many who had the opportunity of knowing him. There are no words which can convey the depth of sorrow our family feels at this time for his family and young wife. He always ended his e-mails with the following quote, ?If you are not allowed to laugh in heaven, I don?t want to go there.? I am sure heaven is a much happier place with him there. We, here in this mortal world, are not smiling quite as much.
