Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Joey Catlin on November 6, 2003:

Someone once said that, "Freedom is not free." For those of us that were close to Todd, this is a lesson that has been difficult to learn. Todd sacrificed himself and all that he was so that he could provide something greater to this world, freedom. His honesty, loyalty, bravery and sense of humor made Todd a devoted friend, loving husband, and great leader. Although he will be missed, Todd and the many other soldiers that have died in the War on Terrorism, have died fighting for something that they believe in more then life itself. As an American I am proud of all of our men and women that so bravely wear the uniform, and protect our freedoms from the injustices and tyranny that so many others around the world suffer from. Thank you to all the men and women of the Untied States Armed Forces, you protect all Americans and ideals of democracy without hesitation, and for that I am grateful. Your service does not go unnoticed and lives are never lost in vain. And Todd, know that you will forever be missed, but never forgotten.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Jen, Linda, Larry, Tim, Tiffany and all those close to Todd.
