Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Beth Wallace on November 14, 2003:

Dear Linda, Larry, Tiffany, Tim, and Jenifer,

Where can I begin? Linda, I have known you since I was 18 years old, and the other members of your family, Larry, Tim, Tiffany and Todd as they came into your life. I know how proud you and Larry have always been of your children, and it has been a pleasure to watch them grow into such wonderful adults and to share in your pride.

I remember Todd as a baby, an energetic toddler, Tim watching over him, Tiffany ordering Todd about as only a big sister such as Tiffany can do and their teasing each other always. I remember our sons going off to play golf together, swimming in your pool, and our families hanging out together at New Year?s Day Parades, an IU-USC football game, visiting JPL, a Blue Angels Air Show, etc. etc. etc. Todd was always a big part of these get togethers and will be sorely missed.

My sorrow and grief over his loss has no bounds. I am so sorry, Linda and Larry, for the loss of your youngest child, and Tiffany and Tim for the loss of your baby brother. I will always remember Todd?s smile, his caring way and his obvious love for his family. He was truly one of the best and the brightest.

Jenifer, I have not had the fortune of meeting you, but I want to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. I knew you were a gem when Todd picked you as his wife, and I pray that God will comfort you through this difficult time.

I believe that we never know God?s plans for us, but I do know that He blessed us with Todd?s presence.

All my love and Linda, in AOT, always,

Beth
