I want to express my deepest condolences to Ben's wife and family during this most difficult time. I got to know Ben well during our first two years in Co. B1, "Barbarians." Ben was always someone that could be counted on to lift others up. He had a great spirit and outlook on the Army and life. He never let any of the BS bother him. He was too good a person to lose.
