| My prayers are with you all. As the sister of a career Air Force officer (USAFA '71), aunt of a (USAFA '91) pilot currently flying missions "over there", mother of USMA '06 cadet, whose father, grandfather, great-uncle, and 2 great grandfathers were grads, and mother of a 17 year old daughter who wants to follow her brother to West Point, I can't pretend to honestly know your pain. I know the fear, pride, respect, and gratitude that I have for my children and all who are trying to make this world a better place. My thoughts and prayers are with those in your family who are still defending our great country, and for you in your loss. |
