Losing young people to wars hurts so much. I taught both Tiffany and Todd at La Canada. I still remember Tiffany's delight and pride when she learned that Poco would be coming to West Point. Todd was a charming, joyful boy, and from what I've read in these eulogies, he carried these qualities into adulthood. As a 13 year old, Todd loved to tease and giggle and play pranks - but he was never cruel in his humor. Even at an age when many young people lack empathy for others, Todd was good and kind. I met Todd's sweet wife at the service at Riverside. It is easy to see why Todd and Jenifer chose each other. Tiffany and Jenifer, you're in my thoughts and prayers.
