The loss of Cpt. Ben Smith is a great loss to many. I can remember the days he was inside my tent carrying on a conversation with my platoon leader (his wife). They always looked so much in love. Me and his wife talked about him often. Although I never did establish a close relationship with him, I still feel saddened by his death. May the Lord take good care of him in Heaven.
