Like Andy McKee, I too had the pleasure of meeting Eric in that Summer of 1997. I was a Beast Squad Leader for his "sister squad." While I remember he displayed the highest levels of professionalism and duty, I most recall his big heart and willingness to do what was best for others around him. This endeared him to both classmates and upperclassmen. Thank you "Big Guy," for the mark you left on us all! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. CPT Andrew T.
