I remember Eric as the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back. As a matter of fact, he did just that our firstie year at the Bowl game. My luggage had been lost, I was freezing and he literally gave me his shirt. That is just one example of the generous and kind man he was. We were in the same battalion our last two years at school and lived four houses apart from each other for awhile at Fort Hood. I will always remember the good times, the way he could make you smile and laugh and have a good time despite yourself. May God's love comfort and support those who loved him through this most difficult time. I thank Eric for his ultimate sacrifice for our country and pray that he has found peace in the arms of God. |
