| Our son, 1LT Dan Maurer serves as a Plt Leader in Bravo (Beast) Company, and was proud to serve under CPT Eric Paliwoda in Iraq. Dan often spoke of him in his letters and calls home - he was a big, tough soldier and his officers and soldiers learned a lot from him. His example will live long in each of them - he left his mark on many and for that, his family can find some peace and comfort. |
