Be Thou At Peace

Nicholas -
Although you have gone on from us to a better place, I know we will meet again someday... And I expect you to pick me up and swing me around with one of your infamous bear hugs just like you did the last time I saw you in December. What I would give to have one of those giant hugs from you right now... I am missing your bright smile, quick humor, and sincere friendship everyday. Although I complained about the many times you picked on me or tried to compete for attention with my boyfriend... I would do anything to have you here trying to steal Neil away from me as I know you would!
Nicholas, You were an inspiration to me as well as many others. You have left a lasting impression on my heart and I know I will never come across another person of your caliber. I know you are watching over us, protecting and helping to guide us along life's path. You set an amazing example of how to live life in your short time here and I will do my best to follow that in honor of you.
Not a day goes by that I don't think of you and miss you dearly. Part of me still doesn't want to accept that you are gone, but I will continue to smile and live it up as I know you would want me to. I was so privelaged to have had you in my life for the time that I did and I am so thankful to have called you my friend.
In loving rememberance, Court
