| With a tear in my eye and a smile on my face...I think of John. I think of him in cadet gray with the almost too long hair that just pushed the envelope of getting him in trouble. I think of the funny, funny things that he used to say. I think of his flair for fashion and the hilarious shopping trip in Florida. I think of so many things, but most of all how much I still miss him. It's hard to believe that it's coming up on 14 years. How much less rich our lives have been the last 14 years. I am saddened that my children will never get to know the goodness of my friend. They will never hear him tell a funny story, the kind that make you fall off your chair. Like me, they will miss the sound of his infectious laughter. Love to you until we meet again. |
