Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Margie Smith-Wilcoxon on November 12, 2007:

Ben,

I am so touched by how you have meant so much to so many people. Reading the words of all your friends and fellow soldiers is so comforting, even to this day. You never cease to amaze me. You are everything someone could ask for in a big brother and friend. From making up your own wacky rules in monopoly, to making us listen to Billy Joel on the way to school day after day, to your big bear hugs, to your brave exit into the army and then west point and then off to war......you will always be remembered....by some for the sacrifice you gave to your country....but by those who knew you....for the fun loving person that you are. You make my heart smile even through the tears. You are truly missed.

(We love you Maggie......I am always in awe of what a strong person you are. Ben's most precious gift to us. He would be so happy to see you happy.)

We love you Ben :).....we keep you in our thoughts and prayers always. -Margie
