| Zach was a great young man. I had the pleasure of being his Platoon Leader during Beast Barracks as he made the transition from civilian to Cadet. I could tell then from his confidence and composure that he would do very well at West Point. I was saddened to hear of his untimely death at Ranger School, but I know that during his short time on earth that he touched many of us and his spirit lives on. |
