Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Tom Berens on December 12, 2007:

Ken was a fellow H-1 Hawg at West Point. Besides being the nicest guy I ever met at the academy, Ken was also a fantastic photographer. Our yearbook, the Howitzer, is graced with many wonderful photos of our time at West Point, largely due to Ken's efforts.
For our 30th Reunion, I borrowed a bunch of Kenny's photos and showed a video montage of his work at the Class Meeting in Ike Hall. Ken, your photos received a standing ovation from all 300 classmates and their spouses. The spouses who had never been to West Point before remarked that they now had a better understanding of what their husbands were always talking about.
Most of us barely survived West Point, and nearly all lacked the time, skills or forethought to capture those days in photos. Thanks to you, buddy, not only can we relive those memories again and again, but we have the photographic proof for our friends and families to support our fantastic yarns about the Academy.
Root Hawg!
