Ben, I have several standout memories of you; all of them still make me burst into a huge smile. My absolute favorite is from when you guys were still at Benning. I had called Garrison and he said you two were sitting around making garrotes. WHAT?!?!?! I made him put you on the phone and pleaded with you to make him stop, not only was it embarassing but kinda creepy. Your response was, and I swear I could hear the smile break out across your face, "What are you talking about? This is fun and they could come in handy!". Oh Ben...It's been two years since you were taken from us and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about the good times we all had together. I know you're in some pretty good company up there. Well done. ~Kayla |
