Chris... It has taken me this long just to "come to grips" with that night in Taji - shortly before your flight... I am sorry I could not change the events of that night, though I always see your face; I am so sorry you are not here to talk to in person, though I always think of you when I need strength. I remember talking to you as a young plebe on the pistol team, again when you came to us as a new commander in our battalion, and again on the fields of combat. I do not know a of finer man to take the Outlaws into combat: No greater love hath a man than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. We were there together and you will NEVER be forgotten.
