To Hans: I still remember the times spent at ICCC, CAS3, and BLC. Spending the better part of a year getting ready to take command in between road trips and a bar or two. It seems like yesterday that I was sending you email from Baghdad. In the end you were doing what you loved and were incredibly good at - leading men in harm's way. It was an honor to be your friend, and I will miss you. Take care and God Bless. To his family and loved ones: I am deeply sorry for your loss. Hans was in incredible man and leader; he will be missed by all he has known. My prayers are with you and if there is anything you need - I am stateside so please contact me. CPT Scott Knight |
