Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Shauna Evans on April 14, 2004:

This is unbelievable. Erin Springsteen...Bruce...The Boss...my favorite "Yooper". I never met someone who was so selfless and happy. Nothing ever got her down. I remember softball games and practices with Erin - I never saw anyone work so hard. From burning herself down in Florida plebe year (because she was put on tanning oil instead of sunblock when coach warned us about getting burned) to the trip down to NJ for TEE leave (poker and Buzzworthy) to her trying to push my car down the highway when I ran out of gas on the way back from Canada to nights down at the Fireside, there was never ever a dull or unhappy moment with Erin. She knew how to enjoy life to the fullest - I wish I could say the same.

This is definitely a true loss not only to her many friends but to her family. I am so sorry for this tragedy and the effect it is going to have on all of the Springsteen family. I know it has definitely affected the "softball family" that Erin was such an important part of.

There is no replacing the positive light that Erin brought into everyone's lives that knew her. I will sadly miss her but never forget.
