Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Charlotte Lamp on April 15, 2004:

Erin: From the first moment we set eyes on your family's van, canoe atop, as it rolled up to Buffalo Soldier Field for that first meeting of the future '02 softball players, and your lanky body piled out with all that red curly hair and dancing eyes, you continued to provide us softball parents with entertainment, laughter, and light heartedness. And the trips to Florida... I can still see you Plebe year rolling out of your room, squirt gun with flashing lights cocked and ready as COL just happened to open his door - a true Erin moment.

Our prayers are for the repose of your soul as you rest in the arms of God - and also for your family. May all of you find solace and consolation in the loving light of the Holy Spirit and the hope of the Resurrection all of us Catholics so profoundly celebrate at this time of the year.

Charlotte and Don Lamp (parents of Anne McClain, '02)
