Be Thou At Peace
Posted by Bianca Kilgore on April 15, 2004:
Erin (Bruce) ~ After reading some of your eulogies, what I already knew was only comfirmed-- you brought so much joy and laughter to so many people during your short lifetime. I've laughed and I've cried and then laughed again remembering you. All the SLAW family loved you dearly and the memories that you left us with will be cherished forever...all of the very Erin moments.
Remember the R-day picnic our yuk year? We were having a little beauty session and I was doing someone's eyebrows for them. You asked me to do yours and asked if it would hurt. I told you that it doesn't hurt for most people and you decided to go ahead with it anyway. I don't think I've ever laughed so much at the mercy of someone else's pain :) You jumped off that bench so fast and started laughing that genuine Erin laugh and smiling that classic Erin smile.
We are all saddened to know that you are gone, but there is comfort in knowing that you are a in a better place. I could just hear you now... "Dude, this place is awesome!!"
To the Springsteens~ God Bless you and keep you during this trying time in your lives. Your daughter was an amazing person and an inspiration to us all.
With Love,
Bianca Kilgore
