I don't think I'll ever forget the first I heard of Erin. "You have got to check out my plebe...she has the craziest hair ever!!" I, of course curious as ever, couldn't wait to meet this CDT Springsteen. She had to be awesome with a name like that. It was that hot August day when I realized that this Cadet had potential and drive like no other. I could only wish to be half as positive and upbeat as Erin was every single day. Never once did I cross Erin's path without getting a huge smile or greeting and eventually "Dude...whats new!?" I was shocked when I received the news of Erin. I am consoled to know that she is in a better place. To the Springsteen Family - you're all in my thoughts and prayers. May God give you the strength to get through this terrible time. To Erin - know that your memory will live forever. God Bless you. |
