Just thinking about the Boss makes me smile. I will always remember going to practice with her, watching her run around in her catching gear. No one ever really looks "right" doing that, but Erin managed to do it with a little extra flair for all of us. Her smile always reminded me, even on the worst days, that softball was still just a game in the greater scheme of life, and it should be enjoyed that way. Her sense of humor was unmatched, and her ability to turn the worst moods into the best was uncanny...and who could forget the sunburn over spring break? Damn that was funny. She's still smiling and laughing for us somewhere, just in a different place now. My thoughts are with her family, as well as all of her friends...grip hands with us now though we see not, grip hands with us strengthen our hearts.... Carry on Boss. Jen |
