Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Brittany Meeks on April 18, 2004:

Erin Springsteen- the memories I have of Erin are so many and so priceless. Of all the catchers I worked with I always pitched the best when I was with Erin. There were numerous games where we were hoping to get in, or at least I was, and I'd take her down and warm up--she always put up with me, she made me better. Erin always smiled, always laughed, always found a way to get herself in trouble, but still come out better. I think everyone that knew her will always remember that big grin. All of us on the softball team from the Class of 2002 will never forget her hair on that day before R-day picnic! I could write on and on about how many memories of Bruce, Boss, and the friend that Erin Springsteen was to so many of us. Erin, we will all miss you. You have left your mark on us, and we will never forget the laughs and your grin. You touched us all..."be thou at peace."
