I didn't really know the Bruce too well while at school, but I was afforded to opportunity to get to know her while at flight school. In the small time that I got to spend with her while at flight school (we were in the same class throughout), I was only impressed at how she could smile through the toughest times. I wish I could have done more for her, since she would always help out anyone at a drop of a dime. Some people may have certains stereotypes of women in the military, but they would only need to meet Bruce to defy those stereotypes. She impressed me with her patience, her intelligence, her selflessness, and her competence. The only thing I wish is I could have done more for her. She always gave, never received. I thank her for everything she's done for all of us, and my prayers are with her family. Thanks Bruce. |
