Be Thou At Peace
Posted by Ronald & Bernice Graff on April 20, 2004:
We, as the parents of Peter knew how proud he felt being a member of the class of 1991. We had the opportunity of meeting some of his classmates over the years and developed a friendship with many of them that exists to this day.
We lost our son because of a terrible illness and we feel a tragic loss, not just to ourselves as his parents but to his immediate family, Colleen, Mary and Ron.
He had so much to give, and we as his parents feel he had a definite purpose for his time on earth. He touched many lives and gave of himself, not just in words, but in action to his fellows.
As his father, being an old Marine, at the time of his entombment , stood at attention and proudly gave him my salute. A mixture of pride and loss overwhelmed me. As his mother stood next to me, I could see in her eyes the deep love and affection that only a mother can give to a child.
We wish all members of the class of 1991 all the success and happiness to be found in this world and pray that you remember our son.
