Gordon and I were in the same beast company. I didn't know him too well, but there were some times that we could interact. I often forgot to bring my sun-tan lotion out to company athletics, and he was the first person that offered to let me borrow his. It was a small gesture, but I greatly appreciated it. I remember one other time where we studied some knowledge together that we were both having difficulty on. "Definition of an Officer". He helped me get that knowledge passed off that day. I think anyone that ever knew him would agree with me that he was a great guy to everyone he's met. Even if it was for a brief amount of time. He will be missed greatly. "And when our work is done, Our course on earth is run, May it be said, 'Well Done; Be Thou At Peace...'" |
