Be Thou At Peace
Posted by Robert W. Tallgren on March 15, 2009:
Bob Tredway was many things to many people, but I will always remember Bob as being a real, true blue car enthusiast. Bob spoke to me about owning a Ferrari one day and I encouraged him to do it!
To make a rather long story short Bob found his Ferrari, a 1984 400i powered by the infamous Ferrari V-12 engine, I came up from Florida to visit Bob and Anne and I'll never forget the expression of pride on his face.....he now owned a piece of an automotive legend. He loved the way the engine exhaust note and the way people just liked to get a closer look whether at a gas station or parked on the street.
It was truly a very special car for a very special person. A person who rightfully deserved the best things life has to offer, Bob and I were lucky enough to both be temporary custodians of the same Ferrari, Bob and I shared an experience of a lifetime and probably made the "record books" for being the only two West Pointers to own the same Ferrari.
May God be with you Bob Tredway. Bob Tallgren
