Be Thou At Peace

My Friend Bill -
I just wanted to post a note to say that you are still missed. My family and I remain grateful to you and your family for so many reasons. There are small reasons, like the fun you added to my USMA experience, for teaching me to play the guitar (which I am pretty good at these days) and for being a key thread in the fabric of my USMA experience. Of course, there are the big reasons we are grateful; for the lifetime of service you provided to our country, for your brave and selfless service in Iraq and for the indescribable loss that your precious family has endured since 2006.
My family and I remain indebted to you and yours. We'd love the help your family. You should also know that you are always remembered publicly each time I pick up that guitar. Your story is told to people you would never have known, typically around a nighttime fire just before I close with a rousing "Margaritaville" played just as you taught me more than 20 years ago.
Your friend, Hayden
