Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Frank Valadez on May 5, 2009:

I served with Capt Kurth in Iraq & briefly talked to him on the night of March 12, 2004 in the Mess Hall. We discussed our mission that lasted 3 days, prior to March 12th. He was our convoy leader, and we were one of the first Units to drive across Iraq to Tikrit in our vehicles. After every stop we made he made sure to brief every one on what happened and where we were going and what we had lying ahead. He personally went to each vehicle and made sure every soldier was doing fine and that we kept our maintenance on our vechile in tip-top shape. CPT Kurth is the Best Commander I ever served under.

You are Truly Missed Sir,
"No Mission Too Difficult, No Sacrifice Too Great, Duty First!"
Salute to you Sir,
Frank Valadez
