I met Cary through my neighbor (now Ret. Col. James Hayes) in 1981. Cary and I remained friends and in contact all these last 28 years. I visited last with Cary just two days before he died. Cary was a gentleman soldier who always displayed a broad smile and a loving heart. Cary passed away listening to his wife read some of his favorite parts of the Bible which was his compass in life. A true patriot who will be greatly missed..JH |
