Be Thou At Peace

Posted by JOE DADO on July 1, 2009:

I first met Willie at Malacanan Palace in July 1956. during a dance for PMA cadets, who had all participated in the Independence Day parade. He was leaving for West Point. With him was Chuck Agustin who was leaving for Annapolis. I think they were the top cadets in PMA Class 1959. I had just been assigned to teach in PMA.

Later, Puring and I were neighbors of Willie and Mila in Fort Bonifacio, and after we were both out of the army, in Alabang.

We are saddened by Willie's death and we pray for him and his family.
