Den, I keep your picture next to my desk and think about you everyday. You remain to this day the only teenager, besides my own, I've ever loved. I'll always remember you taking the time to mow your uncle's grass at the campground without complaint, your love of volleyball and your always immediate response to anyone in need including myself and my family. I'll remember the way you always made sure that Anthony and Matt were protected. You were a hero long before you went into battle. I pray every day for Big Den, Marion, Matt and the rest of your family. We miss you and the hole you left in our hearts will never be filled. The cooler is on the deck and it's full. We miss you. |
