A POEM FOR BOB
I remember you in Summer breeze
When careless winds blow free
In heartfelt kitchen with feast of friends
Amidst the falling leaves

With crackling fire, where each log is placed
To warm the Winter air
The smell of pine, the chimney, smoking
A special time of year

And long, alas the Springtime beckons
Morning grass, filled with dew
To return the image to my eyes
How I remember you

And within these precious moments shared
Memories wander free
To fulfill a place inside myself
The friend you are to me
