| I just recently found out of the death of Pete. I am greatly saddened of this news. I knew Pete when we attended CAS3 together in early 2001 at Ft. Leavenworth. Me and Pete hit it off right away. I was on my way to DPE at West Point where I would be a boxing instructor & prided myself on my physical fitness, but Pete and his drive and confidence were amazing. He beat me on the 2-mile portion of the run by a hair. And I won't forget his fine singing voice on the mornings we would get together to attend Sunday morning Mass. I, sadly, did not keep in touch with Pete after CAS3 but will always remember him as a good person always with a smile on his face and a kind word. Rest in peace. You and yours are in my prayers. |
