Be Thou At Peace

| Bill Sipos was a man of steel and velvet. He was so gentle and giving off the football field and so aggressive in the battle. Bill was the outstanding player in several of our games senior year (defensive back of the week an unprecedented three times against Michigan, Penn State and Oklahoma State). I remember him always being an encouragement to the team. I can still recall the profound sadness that washed over me when I read of his death in the Army Times. What a great guy! |
