last week would have been Ian's birthday (October 7th) The week prior (September 30th) The Fountain Fort Carson School District # 8 school board recognized his contributions and legacy when they announced the naming of a new elementary school on Fort Carson- in the memory of Ian - " Weikel Elementary" will officially open in the fall of 2010 we look forward to friends, classmates being part of that dedication ceremony - contact Coach Maiurro at Fountain Fort Carson High school for updates |
