Be Thou At Peace

Posted by William C. Wilson on November 12, 2009:

To My Father,
I have many fond memories of growing up as your son. I can remember going fishing on the Wanaque reservoir and Greenwood Lake when I was a kid. The reservoir was a special place, because a permit was needed to fish there. You always had a way to aquire things with athority that West Pointers are quite capable of. I can also remember going to the Army football games. Remember when we went to the Army, Navy game in Philly when my grandpa Ruocco had to go shake hands with president Ford, you helped him through secret service, even though he was a retired naval M.D. you both pulled it off.

When we got the season tickets for football games at The Point, it started a new tradition for my son an I.

I wish I had the chance to say goodbye. Love you dad.

I am proud to be your son. I will always remember what you taught me.

Love Your son,
Bill
