George, Cindy and Matt: Our prayers and thoughts have been with Andy and with you and your family since we learned of his injury. There are no words adequate to express the depth of our sorrow. Please know that our hearts and those of your extended West Point family join yours in your grief and our tears flow along with yours as you mourn the loss of your son and brother. We are told that "greater love has no man than to lay down his life for his friends." Andy has given the last full measure of devotion for his family, his friends and his Nation. He joins forever the Long Gray Line who in times of peril for our Nation have stepped forward in selfless service. Well Done, Andy. Be thou at peace. Grip Hands!
