To the Houghton family, Our deepest and most sincere sympathy goes out to you in your time of grief. Andy was there to encourage our son during Beast. Without his words of encouragement, our son may not have continued at West Point (a decision he is glad to have made). Andy also wrote to us to encourage us and reassure us that our son was doing well. Even though we never had the pleasure to meet Andy in person, we feel as though we have known him a long time.
