| I knew George from New Mexico Military Institute where he was the regimental commander in 76-77. Five us of from that time went to USMA (Dirk Stevens, Steve Walters, Kent Troy, George and me). George was a colorful and interesting character, to say the least. It was pretty funny when he and some others flew Cessnas and buzzed a group of people doing some training one Saturday morning out in the middle of nowhere New Mexico. Definitely lightened up the otherwise dreary lesson at the time. I am sorry to learn of his passing and wish his family well. |
