I had the honor of knowing Andy for two years at West Point. I first met him when he was introduced as the head of our counseling group for Cadet Basic Training. He did an outstanding job as a mentor and a friend. He was always there to help us out and to listen to what we had to say. I then worked with Andy on the Special Olympics committee. He was so devoted and he was the best person for the job. Andy cared so much for everyone around him and he gave so much of himself for others. His selfless service, in all aspects of his life,will never be forgotten. Andy, I will miss you. You were a great friend to myself and others. You will live forever in our memories. |
