I thought the world of Jerry. He was not only a West Point classmate but a prep school classmate as well. He was incredibly successful in the business world with IBM and Chrysler, but never forgot the meaning of West Point, it's importance to him, and it's importance to our nation. Along with his other efforts, he was a linchpin, along with others, in '60's successful efforts to fund an endowment to the Cadet Activities Fund. In all respects, Jerry York was a proud son of West Point and a distinguished member of the Long Gray Line. All of us will miss him. |
