Be Thou At Peace
Posted by Craig Wilson on March 21, 2010:
To the Miller Family; This note is from Craig and Laurie Wilson, parents of George (Bradley) Wilson 08. Brad was the proud recipient of the Zachariah Miller Memorial Award. At the time of the ceremony, we remember being touched by the story of Zach and we discussed the significance of it with Brad. Brad received a scholarship and spent his first year after graduation in London. Like Zac, he did well academically and enjoyed math. I suspect they would have been good friends. Brad returned last fall to Ft. Benning for IBOLC and beginning yesterday, Ranger School.
We are once again feeling the anxiety of West Point parents; Beast, Camp Buckner and now Ranger School. We talk often of Zac and the sacrifice he made. We hope the prayers and thoughts of so many classmates, friends and family help ease the pain you must feel every day.
We are simply writing to let you know that we think of you and Zac. Brad carries the pride of being associated with him to Ranger School and this will hopefully strengthen him for the weeks ahead.
Craig and Laurie Wilson
