Be Thou At Peace

| Mark and I shared the same name...which was often confusing to some of our classmates. As a member of the C-4 Cowboys, I lived a couple of "regiments" away from Mark so we didn't come in contact with each other every day. When we did, it was always a pleasant nod or smile. What I do recall was a solid, dependable classmate I was privileged to consider a friend. We didn't serve together after graduation but I'm quite sure those who did serve with Mark were the better for it. I'm sure he will be sorely missed by all friends and family. May God protect and bless his family during this difficult period. |
