Jimmy was my roommate for Beast and for a little while during the plebe academic year so I don't know what kind of an expert on Jimmy I am, but I do know a couple of things. He was one of those people that just exuded an easy confidence - the kind of confidence that made you want to get to know him and instantly like him. He just had that personality that made you want to remember him. To be sure, I have worked closely with hundreds of fellow soldiers, but he was one of the standouts. From time to time, I think of what my friends in the military have done for this country and I cannot imagine a greater loss that losing Jimmy. I respect him now as I did when I first met him and am blessed to have met this man. I hope that I can take a little of his personality and bring it into my life.
