| Al was such a wonderful officer and human being. He was the Chief of Staff at USCC when I was stationed at West Point in the late 90's. He always took the time to talk to you regardless of your rank or position. I never saw Al lose his cool. When I returned back to West Point after I retired from the Army, Al was one of the first people that I saw and he came over and spoke with me. He was a great friend of the Academy and will be missed. I didn't know that Al was sick and I regret not being able to tell him what a wonderful person he was to everyone he met. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Christine Richardson |
